Panevėžys Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Crafts kindly invites you to participate in Aukštaitija Investment Forum on 30 September, 2010 in Panevėžys city, Lithuania.

Economy development tendencies encourage the use of renewable energy sources. It is supposed that by the year 2020 appr. 70% of central heating and 6% of electric energy in Lithuania will be obtained from biofuel. Now biofuel is not widely used in Lithuania due to shortage of biofuel production equipment.

We invite organizations, companies and scientists that work in the field of use of renewable energy sources to participate in this forum. Participants of the forum will share their experience in use of renewable energy sources, its effectiveness, and present investment solutions and ideas. Presentations will be made by the scientists and entrepreneurs from the Nordic and Baltic countries with the aim to create science and business clusters in this field, speed up development of use of renewable energy sources in Lithuania.

International Aukštaitija investment forums have good traditions and are distinguished as actively attended and effective. Since 2005 four forums have been held and even 70% of the projects presented in them have been implemented or are being implemented. Investors from Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, China, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Holland, Germany, the USA and other countries participated in the forums.
